Default Skill rip-off idea.

If anyone else here was unfortunate enough to play a certain other MMO during its decline, they may have encountered a class called the Heretic, and his unique method of resurrection. When he ressed you using this "monster rez", you became a killing machine for a brief period of time, before reverting to your normal self, just barely alive. I think the Necro should have something this cool, in Soul Reaping perhaps? Hefty recast (45 sec at LEAST), high energy cost, but potentially very powerful in PvE and possibly in PvP if used cleverly. While you are under the effect of the monster rez, you would be considered as being "in a form", and you would be vulnerable to snares and such, but attack speed, damage, and run speed would all be ramped up. You would also take double damage from holy while in this state. Your ranged attacks would be disabled, and you would be granted a melee "weapon" while in this form. Benefits from equipped weapons/shields/focuses would still apply. Healing would have a fraction of its normal effectiveness on you.

It sounds complicated, but it would give the Necro another fun toy.

As a Monk, I would love to see an Elite rez.
But I agree with you. If they did make and Elite rez, I'd like to see something like a "form" - 120 recharge, 10-25 energy, VERY fast casting.

I think it would be cool if Necros had such a rez... But I'd want to be selfish and see the Monks have such a skill. >.>

Or like all those old arcade games when you use one of your Extra Lives, and get respawned, you blink for a few seconds in an invincible mode. A lousier Rebirth.

I can see an Elite monk rez working like this:
If used with 1 dead, the guy rez with 100% hp, 50% energy. If 2 dead, each will have 50% hp, 25% energy; 3 dead 33% hp 16% energy, and so on. Monk lose all energy, Exhaustion, be Dazed for a while, or whatever penalties.

I can see a Necro-style rez being:
Necro immediately dies while the rez target is rezzed at 100% hp, 100% energy and has some sort of godmode for a few seconds. The ultimate sac skill.

Make it like a reverse DPSig. If the rezzed ally stays alive for a certain amount of time, you get rezzed at a certain fraction of your max health and energy.
